From the photographer, Kelli Lynn: The bride-to-be, Hannah, was my college roommate, so when she asked me to be her engagement and wedding photographer, I was thrilled! I remember spending our last few years as a teenager, into our early 20's talking about our future weddings. When Hannah told me she thought she found 'the one' I knew he had to special!
Hannah and Logan met at a mixer Hannah's work held. While she was reluctant at first when Logan approached her, Hannah soon realized that Logan was truly a catch. Logan decided to propose to Hannah while golfing, which was fitting seeing how Hannah was a golfer and played in college!
I remember getting a text message with a photo of Hannah's ring and I screamed out loud with excitement! We began talking about her engagement session and seeing how Logan works at the capitol, they thought doing their engagement session there and at Bicentennial Park would be the perfect place! The weather was amazing the day of their session and we had so much fun strolling around the capitol and snapping photos!
My advice for planning brides would be to have fun with their engagement session! Take the time to dress up a little, but most importantly wear something you feel comfortable and amazing in! Engagement sessions are a time to get to know your photographer and become a little comfortable in front of the camera, so on your wedding day you'll be relaxed!
