Elm and Ivory Blush and Burgundy Styled Shoot at Iriswoods | Nashville

Collaboration is key! This past fall, a group of about 20 wedding photographers got together to shoot a gorgeous model couple at the gorgeous Iriswoods! The blush meets burgundy wedding inspiration was in full force with colorful details everywhere you turned and accents of gold among them. Today is pretty cool because I’m featuring this shoot from TWO photographers: Elm & Ivory Photography along with Mandy Liz Photography. It’s so interesting to see each photographer’s take on the shoot and I love that they both shot different portions of the scene. First up is Codie of Elm & Ivory then keep scrolling to see Mandy Liz‘s photos, too!

From the photographer, Codie of Elm & Ivory: The shoot had a blush and burgundy theme with silver dollar eucalyptus. There were also gold accents throughout the decor. The scene was set with both a bride and groom as well as bridesmaids for a portrait session. The styling was contemporary in a farm-like venue.

And next, Mandy Liz Photography has her take on the styled shoot! Check out her photos below!

From the photographer, Mandy Liz: This wedding shoot is perfect inspiration for brides wanting a blush to burgundy color palette. Every detail of this shoot has soft pink touches like the table scape, the groom’s suit, the ring box, and the bouquet. Amanda and Michael are stylish and full of joy, and their love is so evident. Amanda wore a gorgeous lace gown, and her oversized bouquet perfectly complemented her simpler dress. We held the styled shoot at Iriswoods, an event and wedding venue just outside of Nashville. Iriswoods has a gorgeous field, which we used for the bride and groom portraits. My favorite details from this styled shoot are the invitation suite and the vow booklet. This was a group styled shoot, and I participated with 20 other photographers.

Mandy Liz Photography on the decor: This shoot was meant to inspire brides that are planning a wedding with blush and burgundy color themes. Wildflowers LLC created a beautiful, oversized bouquet for this styled shoot. They included a lot of blush and burgundy shades mixed in with greenery and white roses. The 4 tier cake was a mix of rustic and classic. The 2nd tier resembles a tree trunk, and fit the barn setting well.

My favorite thing about the table set up, was the greenery draped over the chairs. The table scape was simple and clean. We had a blush linen running along the table, gold elements (utensils, vase, and candle holders), and plain white plates. Burgundy linens decorated the white plates as well as the bride and groom place card.
