Not to mention, Annabelle the goldendoodle, brought the cuteness that won over our hearts! What was your design inspiration?

Mandy: This wedding styled shoot is perfect inspiration for couples looking for simple and minimalist details that come together to create a bigger picture. We wanted to have a blank canvas where we could create whatever we wanted, so we had our shoot at 618 Ewing, a venue with an open floor plan. The white and black walls allowed us to create and design to fit our vision. We had a hanging floral install over the reception table, and a a floral installation and a chalk wall calligraphy backdrop for the ceremony space.

Tell us all about the flowers!

Mandy: We used foraged plants on our calligraphy chalk wall to decorate the ceremony venue. We also had a beautiful floral install over the reception table with dried pampas grass. Our bride held a foraged bouquet that perfectly tied in white roses, pampas grass, dried flowers, and fall leaves. My favorite thing about this shoot is that we included a sweet goldendoodle named Annabelle. Our dog wore a foraged floral piece around her collar that matched the bride’s bouquet.

Describe the cake!

Mandy: One of the most unique things about this shoot is the wedding cake. Our 3-tier ruffled cake had beautiful navy, tan, and white layers on a baby blue base with gold specks.

Tell us about the styled shoot attire choices.

Mandy: Our bride wore a white beaded wedding dress with a v-cut front and relaxed fitting sleeves. Her cathedral length veil complemented her dress perfectly and added a romantic touch to a unique gown. Our groom wore a black suit and tie.

Please describe any DIY, handmade or personal details.

Mandy: Our invitation suite included a hand drawn map with a star to mark the location of the wedding venue. We styled the invitation suite with some pampas grass and natural rocks.

Describe the tablescape elements.

Mandy: Our reception table was lined with white and tan linens, and we had clear chairs serve as the place settings for the guests. Dried pampas grass adorned the center of the table, and we used mismatched candle holders. Crystal goblins, white and black plates, and copper silverware were placed at each setting. The most unique feature about our table, is that we used acrylic chairs that double as name cards!

Mandy Liz Photography did a great job capturing the talent of this amazing vendor team! To say the least, we are obsessed with this downtown wedding inspiration styled shoot!
