Centennial Park Engagement Session at Sunset with a Red Motorcycle | Nashville, TN

What do cupcakes, surprises and a bright red motorcycle have in common? Lauren + Clark’s engagement story! And when all of these things are combined, you know you have one awesome couple. Clark decided to surprise Lauren with a proposal and hired Zoe Life Photography to help capture the moment. The funny thing about it is that Zoe met Lauren at The Painted Cupcake. Lauren loved Zoe’s work so much and the photographer/couple match was perfect! Their fun Nashville engagement session quickly went to another level of awesome when they posed with Clark’s red motorcycle at Centennial Park! Scroll below to see their photos and hear more about their fun story!

From the photographer, Zoe Life Photography: I first met Lauren while looking for the perfect bakery to design my own wedding cake. Lauren works with her mom at The Painted Cupcake, a bakery in Nashville that specializes in macarons and cupcakes. The shop is one of my favorite places – it makes me feel like I’ve walked into Alice in Wonderland’s world with its pink hues and magical setting. As we were talking, Lauren mentioned that she was engaged. We found each other on Instagram and followed one another . . .  Little did we know that Clark, her fiance, was planning on a surprise engagement photo shoot.

A few weeks later, I received an email from Clark asking me to capture their engagement session. I was ecstatic. Not only is Lauren one of the most cheerful and sweet people I’ve ever met, she is also gorgeous! Clark had been looking through Lauren’s Instagram followers and he came across my page. They had been wanting to do an engagement session for awhile, and so Clark wanted to give her a big surprise. They were planning to go to dinner later that evening in the area, Lauren would already be dressed up … so it would be a perfect opportunity to surprise her.

Their photo shoot at Centennial Park sunset was so perfect. The two laughed and giggled and kissed the entire time. They naturally fell into romantic poses with very little prompting from me. They are just natural models, and so very much in love. At the end of the session, Clark (who had arrived on his red motorcycle) wanted to incorporate his dream bike into his engagement session with his dream girl.

Zoey – thank you for sharing this super fun Nashville engagement session with us today! You can check out more of Zoe Life Photography’s work here. Also be sure to follow her on Instagram – that’s where it all started with this couple! 🙂
