Bohemian Farm to Table Styled Shoot at The Bedford with The Wedding Plate | Nashville Styled Shoot

The elements in this mid-century styled shoot by Essential Events are so unique to anything I’ve seen before! With a great team of Nashville wedding vendors (many of them Nashville Bride Guide vendors), the angle on this shoot was to feature some beautiful tablescapes and delicious food and drink from Loveless Events. And how cool is it that they chose a Mother of the Bride model to be a part of the shoot? Love! Plus, ReCreations Home sponsored 33 amazing pieces of furniture for this shoot – wow! Tell us about the shoot vision!

Emelie: Centered around fostering community and southern family-style, we shot a few different looks. Our first table setting was focused on elegant minimalism with greenery and a touch of burlap to incorporate classic southern charm while staying modern. For the second table setting look, we went for a mid-century modern vibe using the vintage china from The Wedding Plate. With mid-century modern pieces becoming more popular, we wanted to combine that with family-style serving to create a southern mid-century modern look. The final table setting we put together was a family-style buffet with catering from Loveless Events. Our goal with this look was to capture the beauty of southern home cooking while incorporating a sense of community. The last catering centered look was doing a custom cocktail bar set-up. The custom cocktails were catered by Loveless Catering and the “his” and “her” drink sign was created by The Artisan Abode. The vision for this look was to capture southern elegance with a twist. The drinks of choice were classics (Bloody Mary, Old Fashioned, Mimosa) but we wanted to modernize and spice them up a bit with fun garnishes. For the bridal shots, our main goal was to capture the beauty that The Bedford has to offer for any event. It is naturally a darker space with many rustic features and our goal was to brighten it up to see how warm and inviting it can be for any event.

Can you share any special moments or highlights of the day?

Emelie: For me, the highlight of the day was getting to work with such empowering women. Starting a company can be scary and having the opportunity to work with other entrepreneurs who have had a head start in the business and can share their knowledge, is not only inspiring but encouraging. Sara Bill Photography and I worked together earlier in the summer and I am truly inspired by her. To be able to work with her and create such a beautiful end result that benefits so many different people is so fun and very rewarding.

Emelie! Thank you so much for sharing all about this beautiful mid-century styled shoot at the Bedford with us! You can check out more of her work at https://www.essentialeventsnashville.com/. And thanks to all of the amazing Nashville wedding vendors from the Nashville Bride Guide fam who were a part of the shoot – The Wedding Plate, Loveless Events, + Sara Bill Photography!
