How would you describe your style as a couple?
Fun and  relaxed with a mix of elegance

Where did you get your inspiration?
The words I use to describe our wedding are : southern- soft- romantic- rustic- chic-elegant.  I had the vision for months and was also inspired by a few bridal magazines, Pinterest (of course!), living our lives in Nashville, and the décor in our home.

How did you incorporate that style into your wedding?
Our colors were blush, creams, and charcoal. The elegant lighting, centerpieces, and drapes mixed with the rustic farm table, whiskey barrels, southern food, and band created the ideal atmosphere for our special day.

What was your (or your guests’) favorite aspect of your wedding?
The lighting was a big hit; everyone loved the “Love” lights above the stage.   We also had many compliments on the flowers- from having them going up the staircase railings to on the back of chairs and our centerpieces – they were stunning! All of our paper products were a huge hit as well.  Designs and Paper did a phenomenal job with the invitations, menu, programs, thank you cards, ‘Things to do’ in Nashville in the welcome bags. The theme, color and style was beautifully carried throughout our special day.  We also did a wedding triva quiz (how well do you know us) during dinner for each table, and it was a lot of fun and involved everyone at the table- our guests raved about it!

Where did you splurge?  Where did you save/DIY?
Splurge: flowers and rentals. Save: ahh…wish I saved, but I don’t think I did

Who were your favorite vendors and what made them exceptional?
My wedding planner was perfect!  I'm incredibly grateful to have had her throughout the experience.  She could not have been more organized and prepared for our big day.  I cannot say one bad thing about any of the vendors.  They were all super professional and exceeded my expectations.

Now that the wedding day is over, is there anything about your planning process you feel you could have done differently?
Surprisingly no.  It truly was perfect!

In one sentence, what words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
Relax and enjoy the process.  Remember this is about the both of you and there are no rules.  Have fun and soak up all the memories.
