A Funky, Southwestern Styled Shoot at Ruby by The Gifford Collective | Nashville

So much of Nashville is made up of musicians and creatives whose artistic aesthetics bleed into our wedding scene. I love an off-beat wedding and seeing designs that are more casual and out of the norm and that's  why I love this styled shoot submitted by Kristin Gifford of Nashville wedding planning company The Gifford Collective. From the bride's two-piece flowy, lacey boho gown to the southwest print and dreamcatcher decor to the wildflower bouquet, Kristin and photographer Maggie Rae thought through every single detail. See all the southwest goodness below!

From planner + designer, Kristin of The Gifford Collective: Maggie from Maggie Rae Photography and I were eager to collaborate on a funky, southwestern styled shoot. The inspiration for the color palette was derived from a Mexican blanket of Maggie’s with deep greens, neutrals and a bit of burgundy and black. The textured walls at Ruby provided the perfect backdrop for the amazing cacti and the floral components were so deep and rich alongside the striking king protea. We added a touch of turquoise with the Ophelia Stone jewelry and the paper goods by Darby Cards to drive home the southwestern feel. Hannah Farmer Creative nailed the boho aesthetic with the wavy hair and fishtail braids and the two piece gown from The Dress Theory paired with the boots, hat and bolo made for a stylish combination. Nashville Sweets designed a stunning cake with unexpected rich hues and the black haze glassware from Liberty Party Rental offered a fresh look on the tablescape. Rockin’ bohemian couples will find loads of inspiration in these images!
