Christmas is just 12 days away and I'm over here getting in the Christmas spirit! From decorating the tree and fixing the stockings, planners Cori and Lindsey of Corinna Lindsey Weddings curated a fun and fancy wedding styled shoot just for this season! With the help of photographer Wynd & Paisley Co and the lovely backdrop of Deanna Burks' studio in Hendersonville, this model couple's Christmas cheer shined through each and every photo! Tell us about the shoot vision!
Corinna Lindsey: The vision of the shoot was a Christmas-inspired elegant engagement shoot. We are pretty much obsessed with Christmas and anything that's holiday-related and we're always up for doing anything that puts us in the Christmas spirit! We were already planning to assist Pam of Wynd&PaisleyCo. with the styling of her Christmas mini-sessions so we were inspired to include a mini-shoot of our own in the midst of them! The studio in which we were shooting is bright and white and elegant, so it was the ideal location.
What was the theme and what inspired it?
Corinna Lindsey: The Christmas-inspired elegant engagement shoot was inspired by Christmas itself, but also by the red suit that Zach is wearing! While we were planning the shoot, and trying to find the models for it, we came across Zach's and Sarah's wedding photos. They got married last year and Zach wore this red suit and we decided it just had to be involved in a Christmas shoot!
What details were used to create the theme?
Corinna Lindsey: To compliment Zach's red suit, we wanted something equally as sophisticated and dramatic for Sarah, so we used a beautiful tulle skirt/lace cami/sweater combo that we came across at Bella Bridesmaids recently. We kept with the decor we had styled for the Wynd&PaisleyCo. mini-sessions. It was simple and pretty and elegant and perfect!
Can you share any special moments or highlights of the day?
Corinna Lindsey: Zach and Sarah have only been married for a little over a year so it was sweet to see them interact with one another during the shoot! And, of course, we had Michael Buble's Christmas album playing to get us feeling all warm and cozy and Christmas-y!
Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?
Corinna Lindsey: Actually, this shoot was mostly smooth sailing! Thank goodness everyone was there and ready and excited about it!
