This trio of vendors each knew florists, chefs, merchants and craftsmen in Rutherford County who might not ordinarily be thought of as a source for weddings. They aimed to create an intimate farm to table wedding highlighting these local resources.
Imagine if you could have the party of a lifetime with your friends you’ve met throughout your life from all over the world. It all sounds like a dream that could never happen here earth side. However, Kate + Zak pulled off a destination mansion wedding of a lifetime right here in Nashville! Friends from half way around the world attended their special day. And half way around the world is really where their love story started – over in Asia while they were both English teachers. Their story is seriously so cool, so I will let Kate take it from here (and be sure to scroll their amazing photos by White Fox Photography!).
Mauri + Ross Harrison decided to keep their wedding simple – and I love it! The small details Mauri used to decorate her intimate wedding with 40 guests included some boho details such as a greenery and succulent bouquet, a gorgeous hanging floral ceremony backdrop, a colorful floral embroidered wedding dress, and vintage china from The Wedding Plate. From the colorful goblets to the mismatched place settings, The Wedding Plate’s collection fit in fabulously with the couple’s aesthetic! I also love all of the cake stands used for the pies and desserts from The Wedding Plate‘s collection. Keep scrolling to see the photos from Seth Chandler and hear the couple’s story from Mauri!
