She Said Yes! A Nashville Photo Booth Proposal
Monday, December 27, 2010
It's the most wonderful time of the year, when we wake to beautiful snow and wonderful wedding proposal stories.
Amy Lysyczyn who runs Photo Booth Nashville, was recently involved in helping a couple get engaged and we just had to share their story with you! Graduate student, David, worked with Amy on his very unique proposal to his real estate girlfriend Ali. It's such a cute story, a great use of a cool photo booth, and just all-round romantic.

We have the honor of being a small part of many of our clients’ big days. It’s the best part of what we do. We recently had the privilege of helping David Jensen engineer a really sweet and creative proposal to his now fiancé Ali Vandiver. Under the guise of a meeting with a photographer she liked, David lured Ali to our shop. When Ali arrived, there just happened to be a photo booth set up, and we suggested that David and Ali jump in and try it out. Take a look at the photos and you’ll no doubt see the surprise in Ali’s expression as David presented her with her amazing engagement ring in the photo booth. Of course, when their sitting was over David got down on one knee and proposed in true prince charming fashion. Thanks David for allowing us to share in your once-in-a-lifetime moment. Cheers to you both and congratulations!
The proposal was done on Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 at the Photo Booth Nashville storage facility in Smyrna, TN.
David lied to Ali and said that Amy of PBN was a photographer that had taken some recent headshots of him that she loved. He said Amy also owned a photo booth company and that she would give Ali some free headshots in return for him doing a tax project for PBN which he was also using for school. Ali met David and Amy at the storage facility where David had already practiced his proposal in the photo booth. He was determined to catch her reaction live in the photo booth photos. Amy spoke with Ali for a while and played the part telling her they would go to her photography studio in just a bit but that she had left the photo booth set-up so Ali and David could get a cute sitting.
They went into the booth where David proceeded to take out the ring during the photos. At the end he got on one knee and proposed in the booth. A print came out of the booth that said “Will you marry me? Ali and David 11.24.10” Ali said yes to the greatest surprise ever and thought the actual proposal was amazing. She said she never saw it coming!
The two plan to get married next summer and also plan to have a photo booth from Photo Booth Nashville as part of their big day.
Thanks for sharing their story with us Amy! And we wish all the best to David and Ali, this is an exciting time for you both we hope you really enjoy it!
