Real Nashville Wedding Story: Amanda and Stephen

Friday, January 9, 2009

When I see the pictures from Amanda and Stephen's wedding, two words come to mind: classy and cool. They definitely march to their own music and in weddings, that's nice to see. No outside influences - just what mattered most to them and those important to them.

Mindy and Phil, of Phindy Studios, were the perfect photography pick to capture this couple's unique style. Enjoy!

Most special moment for me Seeing Stephen for the first time- It was before the ceremony and only our photographers were there.

My favorite vendors I loved all of my vendors! The cake was wonderful. We heard several "best wedding cake I've ever had" comments at the reception. Marnice and her husband were great to work with and affordable. Paula, who did our invitations and all paper revolving around the wedding, is a dear friend. She is very talented and I highly recommend her. Probably the best part of the whole experience was our photographers. They were so wonderful to work with and we could not be happier with the outcome. We completely trusted them so with little direction from us they were able to capture the day in the most perfect way. My Wedding Rewind: What I would do differently if planning again? I would have had the programs and napkins printed a month before the wedding- no reason to wait. Best value for the service/product Cake, reception site Neatest finds? Church and Reception site According to Phindy, the couple's wedding photographers, "one of the coolest things Phil and I thought about this wedding was that the groom, Stephen, is a local Nashville musician with the band The Nobility and played for almost the entire reception. I included a picture of the band playing and you can see Amanda standing in the background :)".
